It's good to get good days like we used to even tho more crowded

I make about 3 trips a year back up north nowdays and to get the days that I've had are a blessing, as the chances of getting quality waves with not too many people out are slim , but not impossible. My main concern nowdays is the greediness of a large amount of surfers,both, young and old, and then there blatant  " WHO ME" look they give you after the event....... sadly I have to say its really bad here in Australia. Tell me youse people "Why do you surf" , didn't you have a good childhood, or are you just crippled inside.... whatever it is leave it at home, and leave everyone else alone , just be happy your alive and surfing, and when you get a quality day , enjoy,

don't annoy.

I made this for my eldest son Kris, a few years ago, who rides only short boards. This is the second one he has had and still loves it it in small or mushy surf . She's 5 foot by 20 1/2 " and 5 fins, and when I rode short boards I too loved these , as they felt like a skateboard...pure flight.

Titus Kinamakas' Quiksilver surfshop at Hanalei Bay Kauai , as most Hawaiian surfshops , have a lot of boards with a lot of history ,with very good curves and rails.

Went to Alaska, caught a ship and sailed the North Pacific sea then headed SW for 6 days and landed in Hawaii... Alot of crap and flotsam on the crossing and one of our props dragged the nets and ropes for 4 days until we came to Big Isle Hawaii.... The Inuit boat is built of Seal skin nice curves.

Well....I'm back after 2 months away and 1 week in hospital on return to Aus.I Picked up a Coral infection surfing in Hawaii, but now I'm oiled up ready to go Mahalo!
