Anyone who thinks they can do good glassing, stop and take a look at Bill Mclean at Mctavish's. Every year When I see Bill, I love to watch his work, and having a good yarn at the same time. His work is ultra neat ,strong and creative, Bill Mc. the ZEN of glassing

First you plant it, then you grow it ,then you harvest it, dry it, mill it and after many ,many hours of hard work and long ,hours of shaping ,Paul Joske of Valla surfboards...Ya gotta love what you do !

My old mate Roy Meisel of Bare Nature days, with his new board shaped by BUZZ at Town and Country Byron Bay ,his first in 12 years!! I made the fin in Byron and we called the colour of it Tequilla sunrise. The sticker on the bottom is an original Bare Nature 1972 of broken Head just like original ROY...unique!

There are many good reasons for an old surfer to go North this one makes me happy and think young !!!!! Hmmmm! Ah well , the mustard board was a nice shape too!

Paul Joske at Valla surfboards, nearing the finishing stages of his son, Heaths' 9'6" new Gun, for an outside reef in South Aussie. You don't see many of these here in OZ especially ones made here... Paul as usual taking his time and doing a wonderful job of it and, I was lucky enough to be going North at the right time
